FAQ
Waiver of Liability
To ensure everyone’s safety and understanding, all participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability before the event. This waiver acknowledges that the retreat involves physical activity, time outdoors, and participation in workshops, and that attendees accept personal responsibility for their safety. It also releases the organizers and venue from liability related to accidents or injuries that may occur.
The goal isn’t to scare anyone off—it’s about creating a safe space where everyone can relax and fully engage, knowing that all risks are clear and accepted.
Refund Policy - the basics
This is a rain-or-shine event, designed to be experienced in nature—but in the event of extreme or unsafe weather conditions, we may need to cancel or reschedule. If that happens, you’ll receive a credit toward a future offering or a rescheduled retreat date. Refunds will not be issued due to the significant planning, preparation, and non-refundable costs associated with this event.
Much of the event cost is non-recoverable once we’re set-up, so we'll stick it out through inclement weather and only cancel if things get unsafe.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Comfortable clothing for movement and sitting outdoors, layers for changing weather, a water bottle, a journal or sketchbook, a book to read-- if you want, sunscreen, bug spray, and a hat. We’ll provide materials for workshops and meals.
Q: What happens if it rains?
